After months of preparation, technical infrastructure-building and testing, the People’s Union is entering a new phase. We are holding meetings in-person every 2nd Thursday at 7 pm in Mississauga, in the spacious Creature Klub Learning Centre, 626 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W, Suite 201.

The meeting is hosted by the People’s Union of Ontario (part of the People’s Union of Canada), and thus is open to all Ontarians, whether they are members of the People’s Union or not.

Through this meeting, we will be attempting to help people understand the nature of the decentralized human network we are building, where each of the 121 Federal Electoral Districts in Ontario will serve as a node in the network, through an Electoral District Facilitator and their support team of 5-8 people.

The meeting in Mississauga will model the network structure and function, as facilitators of several of the neighboring districts will host small-group discussions on matters of interest and importance after an initial discussion within the entire group.

One of the fundamental goals is to empower each district’s support team to build the union in their district and eventually host their own meetings in their own districts, as the union grows and expands across Ontario. Each electoral district facilitator will also begin to write about what efforts to live in freedom are going on in their district, whether they be rallies, community support endeavors, educational initiatives, micro-economy initiatives, and so on.

Please stay tuned as I will be posting here regularly to let people know what is happening in my district, Mississauga Centre, as well as in districts across Ontario supported by the People’s Union.
